I tried to start blogging last year but that didn't work out so I'm trying again.
First off our house. We are working with a company called HMS. They are a one stop shop in everything you need to get into a house if you have bad credit. We are still in the credit repair process and well on our way to being where we need to be to get the loan for our home. Since we are so close to being where we need to be we have already found our home and it is being built. We should be in it sometime in November of this year. The builder is Cheldan Homes. It is a 4 bedroom, 2 bath, study, 2 car garage and just outside our back yard in a cute little pond that is fully stocked with fish. They even said since someone in the neighborhood was the one who stocked the pond that we could put ducks out there on it if we wanted, oh and I want! So every 45 days they pull our credit to check and see where we are at and today when they did it Terry's score went up and he is only 13 points away from being where he needs to be in order for us to get the house. GREAT! But...mine on the other hand has dropped 33 points! All because of a stupid medical bill that went straight to collections. (SIGH) So since we are married this could potentially effect Terry's score but then it might not too. We are PRAYING it doesn't. And since I am a stay home Mom and I don't work I am not on the loan so from what we are told it shouldn't mess anything up in us getting the house. I still worry though and am scared that it might take everything away from us that we are so close to getting. I have faith though that this is the home that God has chosen for us and we will get it. We went this past Saturday to the design center to pick out everything from the brick to the carpet color. There was so much to chose from and so much that we could have upgraded to but we went with the basic things and decided to make any upgrades ourselves later on.
As far as the family goes this morning the girl Antonio has been glued to since Thursday or Friday went back home to Mississippi. Her name is Judy and she is the sweetest little girl and she has the thickest country accent I have heard in a long time. He really adored her. Every morning Antonio would go straight to the back porch to see if she was outside on her balcony or if she was out walking her dogs and if she wasn't then he just waited for her and soon enough she would come out looking for him too. On Friday I had some errands to run so I left Antonio home with Max and the whole time I was gone he sat on the porch with her sitting on the other side just talking to her since he wasn't allowed to leave the apartment while I wasn't home. I wrote down our phone numbers and address for her and printed off some pictures for her of them playing so Antonio could give them to her last night. When he tried she rejected them saying she doesn't write letters and she can't take the pictures. He was heartbroken. So after sitting on the back porch staring up at her balcony after being rejected for a while he got up the nerve and went and knocked on her door and gave it to one of the adults she was staying with and asked them to give it to her. He told me they said they would but I'm not so sure they did. Hopefully she got it and she writes him. I know that would make him so happy.
Lindsey has mastered swimming down to the bottom of the pool to find coins. She can even do flips underwater! I'm so proud of her. She still has an ear infection and is taking medicine to clear it up. At least she got over having conjunctivitis in both eyes and the first ear infection two weeks ago. Thank God for the ped. not giving her the awful medicine this time too. It's so nice to not have to fight her to take the Rx she needs so get better.
I will be taking Max Thursday to see an Ear, Nose and Throat doctor to have his ears looked at. His ped says he needs tubes in both ears and this ENT will look him over and most likely go ahead and schedule the procedure.
I was feeling kinda proud of myself this past Friday when I finally went and changed my TXDL so it has my new last name. I mean we've been married for almost two months so I really needed to go get it done. I still have to go change it with Social Security but hopefully going there won't take forever like it does at the DMV. I'll be doing that on Thursday after I take Max to the ENT.
I'll update more later but I think this is good enough for a first blog.
I don't know how I almost forgot since I've been thinking of him all day but there is this baby named Stellan who is fighting for his life. He needs all the prayers he and his family can get.
